Dr. Steve Krantz is the author of CyberGuardian: A SecureTheVillage Guide for Residents, available on Amazon. He lectures on personal cybersecurity to audiences nationwide. He is a member of SecureTheVillage™’s Board and Leadership Council.
Steve retired from a 39 year career at IBM in 2007 as a Distinguished Engineer. For the last 8 years of his IBM career, Steve was Chief Architect and Strategy Leader of IBM’s worldwide, internal IT infrastructure, responsible for the successful computing support of over 400,000 professionals, technicians and administrators. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University (1995).
Steve is a member of the Board of PFLAG Los Angeles and a member of the Board of The Lavender Effect, local organizations dedicated to the civil rights of LGBTQ persons. He served as Director of PFLAG’s Southern Pacific Region and as a member of PFLAG’s National Board from 2007 through 2013.
