Synopsis: Hackers gained access to more than one hundred million personal records stored by companies and nonprofits within the last year. With cyber criminals targeting organizations of all sizes in the private, nonprofit, and public sectors, it is clear that no organization should be idle when it comes to cyber security. In this roundtable discussion, Louie Sadd of Datastream IT will share anecdotes, best practices, and approaches to addressing this critical challenge for businesses, organizations, and individuals in our community.
Speaker: Louis Sadd, CEO Datastream IT. Louie Sadd is the founder and CEO of Datastream IT, a Glendale-based company that provides a broad range of IT services to a wide range of industries including financial services, engineering, entertainment, manufacturing, real estate development, and nonprofit.
As a City Commissioner, Louie served as chairman of the City of Glendale Audit Committee. His current and past service on nonprofit boards include Glendale Adventist Hospital Board, USC Marshall Partners Board, Glendale Chamber of Commerce Executive Board, and the SecureTheVillage Leadership Council. Louie was named “Man of the Year” by the Glendale Chamber in 2017.
