San Fernando Valley-East Cybersecurity Roundtable – November
November 9, 2017 @ 7:30 am - 10:00 am
The San Fernando Valley-East Cybersecurity Roundtable is a cross-organizational, cross-functional “learning community” committed to working together to better protect our community from bank fraud, credit card theft, identity theft and other forms of cyber crime.
Host: Datastream IT, Louie Sadd, CEO
Title: Lessons every organization can learn from the Equifax breach
Speaker: Stan Stahl, Ph.D.
President, Citadel Information Group
Synopsis: There’s an old saying that “a fish smells from the head down.” This describes Equifax where the absence of executive leadership created the lax culture that made the loss of the financial histories of 150 million of us a near certainty. There are lessons galore about what not to do and – more importantly – what every organization can do to create a cybersecure culture. These are lessons you’ll want to implement in your organization. Prepare to learn. Prepare to be challenged.
To Eat: Coffee, Tea, Muffins and Fruit
Dial-In: Dial-in will start sometime before 8:00AM; if you dial-in and no one else is on the line, be patient. The Dial-In number will be sent to you upon registering.
