Speaker: Joshua Belk, Executive Director, LA Cyber Lab
Building a successful cybersecurity program depends on many important elements. A successful program requires skilled resources, involvement of all areas of the organization, and support of senior management and the Board of Directors, to name a few. More than ever, success in cybersecurity depends on support of the CFO and the willingness to continually reinvest in the capital needs of the program. Please join us as Joshua Belk discusses the importance of insuring the CFO is closely involved in cybersecurity planning and building the business case for investing in cybersecurity.
Joshua Belk is currently the Executive Director of the Los Angeles Cyber Lab, a non-profit providing threat information to LA Business community. Joshua is a former CSO for the FBI, has held various information security leadership roles with Fortune 200 companies and recently returned from a year-long deployment with the Joint Special Operations Command, as reserve US Naval officer. With over 20 years in the security industry, Joshua brings a unique public-private sector experience to any conversation.
