SecureTheVillage Technology & Security Management Happy Hour

Speakers: Brad Maryman and Dr. Joseph Greenfield of Maryman & Associates

Recorded July 27, 2021

Description: Very little is certain in today’s world, but everyone agrees that data breaches are common and becoming more commonplace. As companies open up their networks for remote work, the attack surface only increases and more companies are facing devastating attacks, such as full ransomware infections on all servers. We will discuss what digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) professionals will be looking for to assist your clients during the investigation, and how to properly prepare those items before the breach occurs.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Key items that DFIR investigators will need to successfully do their jobs.
  • How to tell if you and/or your clients have those monitoring mechanisms turned on.
  • What to do (and tell clients to do) in their preparation for their breaches.
