Terri Curran, Ph.D., is a highly experienced cybersecurity practitioner and educator. She is currently the Cybersecurity University Department Chair (UDC) at Keiser University, a DHS Academic Partner. Terri performed in the CISO (chief information security officer) role at global consumer goods organizations and was recognized as a “Security Luminary” by Information Security Magazine. She helped develop State of Florida Cybersecurity legislation addressing statewide cybersecurity governance. Terri co-led the creation of global ASIS Security Awareness Guidelines and updates to global Information Asset Protection Guidelines. She is an Assistant Editor of the US National Cyberwatch Center’s Cybersecurity Skills Journal. Her certifications include Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), and Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
